Highland Pointe is a subdivision of 94 homes which is located about 3 miles from the historic down town area of Lake Wales. It is a city, which is suburban in description and charm, yet it evokes, urban sophistication. Why? Access to many venues of entertainment for young and old alike, is only "a stone's throw away." There is a beautiful lake, with a wonderful walk path, Historic Bok Towers and Cypress Garden Adventure Park are only minutes away. The Orlando International Airport is only forty-five (45) minutes away. There are many other cultural and academic institutions within minutes of our reach. It is a beautiful location.

The vision of the Board of Directors for this year (2005) is to garner everyone's involvement in making our community aesthetically pleasing, and flavored with a kindred spirit.

Here is an example of a scenario we should be striving to achieve.

You are standing in the supermarket line next to someone who has just asked the person next to them "where do you live," and the person replied, "Highland Pointe off Ninth Street in Lake Wales." From then on, the conversation continues like this."Oh! that’s a very nice community, not only is it physically pleasing, but I heard that there is a real community spirit over there."
